LG VX8550 Cell Phone Reviews

I purchased the Chocolate LG phone in white at Verizon and I had a hard time choosing the LG or a Razor the adorable pink color. later added a line for my daughter and got her the pink I fell in love with the razor because of the looks and the extras but sadly I returned her razor because she was always recharging and there was a static on the speaker. I'm truly happy with my LG my opinion and experience with the phone has been great the battery life lasts I recharge my phone at night only just to have it full for the next day. The picture quality is awesome very clear and the love the sounds it makes before it takes the pic it lets you get ready and can say say cheese or 123... music plays clear this is a very good product for those who like to have music. Wish it had more futures like the borders and more graphics on art like the razor but it does have some. Outside casing durable likewise the razor very quickly noticeable on scratches and smudges. Price wise very reasonable mine included a 50 rebate. I would rate this item a 5 overall

This phone is by far a better version of the original chocolate.. If this slider VX8550 would had been available 5 months ago, we would had switch to Verizon that much earlier.. All features are easier to use, and the digital camera believe it or not is much sharper. It may not have as many color options at the original collection, but the current colors are nice anyways, and with the better slimmer design and more quality look to it, this phone is a winner in my opinion..

I think the new chocolate VX8550 is a great phone its easy to use and the navigation wheel makes its a lot faster to use and easier to navigate through the phones many features. The sound quality on the speaker is great and very loud for a phone. I liked being able to use moving video as a background. Also the camera takes great pictures. But the battery only last a day.

I am not impressed with this phone at all. I've gone through 4 chocolates because of the issues I had w/it. The sensory buttons don't always work on any of the chocolates I had. The buttons on the wheel where hit or miss and the my current chocolate which I've only had for a few months is full of static when I'm on the phone. Definitely would not recommend this phone for everyday use.

When I first bought the LG it was great to use the different features it provided but now looking back it is so impractical to use as the every day phone. The buttons are way too sensitive even when you lower the sensitivity to nothing and you can scroll through the different menus because if you touch the dial it is so sensitive you choose the wrong one. I would suggest to someone buying it to carefully think about its use.

Overall, I enjoy this phone and its easy to learn and use. I have not had a chance to experience all the futures However, when you retrieve your voice mails and you have the phone TOUCHING your ear, your ear will change the screen to the next menu; so when the voice mail says hit seven to delete, you must enter clear once or twice before you get back to the menu. When retrieving voice mail you cannot have the phone touching your ear.

I am so happy with my Chocolate. It is one of the coolest phones ever!! The only problem I have with it is that you have to get the software and pay more money to get the connection cable in order to download music to it. :-( Other than that, it's a great phone. It takes good pictures and the calls are good (can't cradle the phone, but that's alright).

I purchased my Chocolate from Best Buy. Though I have only had it for one day, I notice that it is a nice phone. It was originally $399, but I got a $250 discount, so it only turned out to be $149. I already have two songs downloaded to VCast Music. Verizon can't beat this deal! :) I love my new Chocolate, and should be happy with it for its next two years of use.
