UTStarcom Blitz Cell Phone Reviews

This is a very nice phone. I did not have any of the data plans to receive email. But the QWERTY keyboard is awsome for it size. I have very short wide fingers and I was able to use this phone with ease. Call quality was great on the verizon network. As for the design, when most people saw it, they wanted to know what type of phone it was because it appealed to them based on the look, but once they figured out it was a simple phone/text device and it had its limitations when it came to web browsing, they were not impressed. If you are looking for a phone and plan on text massively, this is your phone. My only issue was the battery and it was not the battery life though. Battery life was excellent with up to 7 days of life by using voice or upto 5 days with heavy text use. The issue is that I only got 1 message that the battery was low and 3 to 5 minutes, no more messages, the phone was down.

I've had the UTStarcom Blitz for exactly four months and it was replaced three times and finally Verizon invoked the lemon law. There were calls that just never came through. People would say why didn't you answer. They would show me on their phone where they dialed my number, but it would not show on my phone at all. Not happy at all with this little phone. I have four other Verizon phones in my possession and do not have an issue with any of them.

I love the UTStarcom Blitz. I had a Razr phone with insurance and went through 3 in one year. It was such a piece of junk. This phone is very easy to use and the call quality blows the Razr out of the water. It has a very fun and unique design. I get a lot of random compliments on this phone. It is extremely comfortable in the hand when talking and on the ear.
